A removable armband carrying pouch that conveniently stores cash or keys
A low-profile belt clip
The patented Multidapt® clip system allows the iPod or iPhone to be taken in the car, on a bike, to the gym, as well as offering other carrying options (accessories sold separately).

Even dogs love the iPhone? My dog would need a much bigger version of this, but I don’t think he’d stand for it anyway. Perfect if you have a small, agreeable dog though.
I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a whole lot of iPhone costumes today and tomorrow. TUAW is requesting pics of Apple-themed costumes HERE, an they’ll show off the best in a gallery sometime today - and of course there’s the video with two guys larking about in (very nicely) faked iPhone store display costumes:

If you’re feeling festive, and would like to be a part of all the fun, we recommend hopping into your local Apple store and hacking all the phones on display.
Frankly this is hilarious … and it serves Apple right for all the crap they’ve been pulling lately. If I didn’t love the dammed thing so much I wouldn’t have a second thought about getting rid of it and telling Apple exactly how I felt about the current version of Apple CrapOnTheCustomers2.0.
Just got this in the old email box a little while ago…
This email is to inform you that Apple has contacted us here on ModMyiPhone about their iphone trademark. From here forward we are no longer using the domain of modmyiphone.com. The new domain and site name is ModMyiFone.com If you would like more details please refer here: http://www.modmyifone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13455 Sorry for the inconvenience, while the domain name has changed all of the posts, guides, support, and user accounts will be remaining intact. All the best, ModMyiFone.com
APPLE YOU BUNCH OF PISSY PANTS. Sorry … APPLE LAWYERS YOU BUNCH OF PISSY PANTS.
Just spotted an update for the Search application. Latest version (on Installer) is 1.0b.
In Contacts Search, it now shows you more info once a contact is selected - including email address and web site details. It did not pull street address details for my dummy contact, or show the photo linked to the contact. Those would be useful additions, as well as maybe an ability to tap the contact’s email address and launch the email application.
Anyway, nice to see this getting updated freqently.
The Yellowpages.com site is now optimized for iPhone and iPod Touch viewing, and it looks pretty good.
By now there are a number of good search pages and directories to use on iPhone, but I’m sure they will still be plenty of times where the Yellow Pages will come in handy, especially if searching for an obscure or specialist service or store.
The layout of the site is nice and simple, and the searches go pretty quick, based on my 10 minute cruise-around.
Oh - and I notice the local Apple Store doesn’t list cash amongst its accepted payment methods - very up-to-date info on that one!

Mark at Geektecnique has done a pretty crazy, and quite striking, mod to his iPhone.
He’s managed to get an old school, colorful Apple logo onto the Home button, paint the iPhone black, and give us a step by step rundown of how he managed it all - with tons of photos.
SplashData are being very aggressive in their development of SplashID and SplashShopper for iPhone. Even in advance of the SDK coming out, they’re going to have web-based services available optimized for Safari and the iPhone screen - and they’ll jump on the SDK when it comes out and create native versions as well.
A good, secure password manager, or digital wallet, application is one of the biggest wish list items in terms of iPhone applications we’d love to see. A password manager app for iPhone delivered by an established company with a solid track record in this area would really be a must-have for many of us .
Well … it seems like that is exactly what will be on offer quite soon from SplashData - as they are planning to bring their popular and award-winning SplashID program to the iPhone.
SplashID has been a big hit with users on just about all mobile platforms for years - with versions available for Palm OS, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Blackberry.
Read on for more detail and some very encouraging words from the CEO at SplashData …
A new source showed up in Installer today, called iApp-a-Day. It’s a project meant to deliver a new iPhone application each day during November.
For now, there’s one simple app listed under the new source - called Pumpkin, it just shows a pumpkin face on a dark background.
Hopefully November will bring a good variety from this new source - and should be fun to watch, as plenty of us have grown used to checking Installer daily (and multiple times per day) anyway.
