Ever since Apple launched its Web Apps Directory page, I’ve occasionally checked back on the ‘Most Recent’ page to see if there are any exciting new apps. Until tonight, I had never seen it updated - just Facebook right there on top staring at me.

Tonight there a whole bunch of new additions, and some of them look quite interesting. Here’s just a few that caught my eye:

• Pickle Mobile - reformatted version of PodcastPickle.com - allows you to search, listen, and review audio and video podcasts on your iPhone! PickleMobile also allows you to create your own personal playlists. 
• Gluey Notes - a tasks and notes app that says you’ll like it if you’re a GTD follower
• Sports Tap - cool sports scores and standings / stats portal that I posted on recently
• Rock Paper Scissors - just because it’s sort of absurd and the graphics are very funny

There are also a couple of optimized Twitter apps and lots of other new looking stuff - about time!

Anyway, if you’d given up on anything new showing up on the Apple Web Apps directory, you might want to go give it another look now. It’s at:
