EditGrid iPhone Spreadsheets App Adds an Excel Plugin

EditGrid - the online spreadsheet service - has now added an Excel plugin. The plugin is called EditGrid Excel Plus, and it integrates the web-based app with your desktop app in order to provide streaming data to Excel in real time.

Here’s some of its features and benefits:

  • Real-time Linked Sheet - establish a sheet level linkage; when the online sheet is changed, your Excel linked sheet is also updated in real-time.
  • Publish data from Excel to EditGrid with one click.
  • Open your EditGrid workbooks in Excel.
  • Bring in real-time data- bring real-time data like user edits and remote stock quotes right to Excel.
  • Access and edit your spreadsheets offline - download your workbooks, edit them offline in Excel and upload again when you’re back online.
