Screenshot App Updated - New Version Fixes Bugs, Adds Features, Works Great

screencap1

Screenshot is now the hands-down choice for taking screen captures on the iPhone …

Screenshot, the native iPhone screen capture program from Robota Softwarehouse, has had a major series of updates this week - and I’m happy to report it is working just great now!

I’ve been using the latest version -1.2.1 - for a couple of days now and finding that it is now a reliable and effective program.  Here’s what is *very* good about the latest Screenshot version:

Bugs Fixed - the bug it had with requiring a Springboard restart to become enabled or turned on has been resolved - toggling the app on and off now works just fine every time

Save to Camera Roll & Other Locations - you can now choose to save your screen captures to the iPhone’s Camera Roll, or any of 5 other locations - and you don’t have to do any typing (and maybe having a typo make a directory path wrong) - as the app gives you a nice set of default choices to select from

More File Type Options for Your Captures - you can now choose to save your captures as .jpg, .png, Fax TIFF, or PDF.

More General Options - you can also now toggle off and on a sound effect (the camera shutter) when taking a capture, as well as choosing whether or not to show a confirmation message, and whether you want to see the View button or not.

Mail Directly from View Screen - this feature is very handy - now when you select the View button and browse through your existing collection of screencaps, you can select one and email it directly from the viewing screen.

The application is very stable now as well - I’ve seen *zero* freeze-ups or problems of any kind when running the latest version. This latest update has fixed all that was flaky about the program, and added some very nice new features in as well.

With these changes, Screenshot is hands-down the easiest and best way to take screenshots on your iPhone.

You can find Screenshot on Installer under the Utilities section.
