This is VERY cool. The new iPhoneHome app lets you customize what is launched when you double-tap the iPhone Home button.
Launch any app installed on your iPhone, dial your most used phone number, or open a blank email.
I think it’s safe to say this one will be a huge hit! I believe it is the first native app that offers an extremely useful hardware button customizing ability.
Very good stuff. The app is available now via Installer, works on 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 firmware (maybe others), and was developed by Jerry Jones. Great work Jerry, and thanks for hiring Wade Phillips too

Great app for the iphone. I have been using for two days. One question, how do you change back to having your favorites launch with double press?

vti5 - yeah this is a heck of a nice app. Changing back to phone favorites = I don’t see that as an option in the iPhoneHome app - but what I did find is that you can just go back into the iPhone’s Settings app, under General > Home Button, and select ‘Phone Favorites’ - and that will override / erase the setting in iPhoneHome.
Hope that helps …

Thanks for the good words guys. I updated iPhoneHome today with the option to change back to the default settings.
You can grab it before it shows up on the installers if you want at http://iphone.dashbuster.com/iphonehome.html
And if any of you know anyone with a blockbuster online account, be sure to refer them to my queue manager for the iphone, Dashbuster. Available at http://iphone.dashbuster.com
