CorePlayer Mobile – a long-time favorite mobile media player on Windows Mobile and other mobile platforms – is being shown off running on an iPhone at CES. This demo shows audio only playback, but Corecodec are promising a few more in this series of demos where we’ll see video as well.
CorePlayer’s supported formats include: H.263, WAV, OGG, Speex, WAVPACK, FLAC, MPC, TTA, AMR, ADPCM, ALaw, MuLaw, Midi, G.726, G.729, G.711, GSM 06.10.
Why use CorePlayer when you’ve got an iPod built in? CorePlayer offers on-device media management – so you don’t have to let iTunes manage everything for you.

Yeah, they promised all kinds of things over a year ago when I bought CorePlayer for my Treo. I am still waiting for WMV support. Or any info about updates. Or any useful info in the once vibrant forums that no have extremely rare posts because no questions get answered.
I guess there have been no updates to get the promised features for the existing versions because they have been working on the iPhone version.
Yeah, I’ve heard that criticism of them for failing to deliver updates and so forth a few times today (in talking to a colleague via email) – that won’t lead them to long-term success …
Falling to deliver updates….???
Well they also fall when it comes to deliver a simple User Manual !!
this "company" is a joke,
nemo – sorry to hear they're letting you down.
