Here’s another very clever iPhone app that’s already looking like a big hit with users. Touchpad is a new program from developer Jahanzeb Sherwani that lets you use the iPhone as a wireless touchpad (funnily enough) for your PC.
Once you’re connected - to a VNC server running on your PC - you can do just about anything with the PC’s mouse via the Touchpad screen that you can with a normal laptop touchpad - it does clicks and double-clicks, dragging and scrolling, and has a popup keyboard.
Suggested uses for Touchpad include controlling videos and media, showing off picture sets, and running presentations - and it is really just a very cool tool all the way around.
You’ll need to add the developer’s source in order to be able to grab this in Installer. The source to add is: http://cnp.qlnk.net/. Once added, you should see Touchpad listed under the Utilities category.
