Xylo Touch-Thru (T2) = First Touch-Through Hard Shell iPhone Case

Xylo Touch-Thru T2 iPhone case

Another breakthrough from a company that always thinks outside the box. Surface Xylo Wave (SXW)© technology passes ultrasonic waves that pass over the touch screen panel and transfer them to the iPhone’s screen without any interferences. When the panel is touched, a portion of the wave is absorbed. This change in the ultrasonic waves registers the position of the touch event and sends this information to the iPhone’s screen for processing.

Wow - very cool sounding technology - and a pretty unique offering for an iPhone case - a hard shell *and* the ability to interact with the touch screen just as you would on a ‘naked’ iPhone.  I don’t recall seeing any others that offer both those features.

The Xylo Touch-Thru (T2) seems to offer a new level of protection without detracting from usability, if it works as well as it’s described. We’ll definitely be looking to get hold of a review unit for this one.
