I meant to post this much earlier, but it slipped my mind. I got an email last night as part of the Twinkle testing group, which included the following text relating to an upcoming update:
There should be another release coming out within the next couple of days adding, clickeable replies and urls, add/remove buddies and a few more minor fixes.
Good stuff. Clickable links seems to me to be THE most requested feature that a lot of folks would like to see added to Twinkle - and seeing it within the next couple of days would be very, very nice.
I’ve been seeing a lot of new Twinkle users in the Austin area these last few days - the Near Me tab is now pretty consistently interesting to look at.
How many of you have tried out Twinkle? What other features would you like to see added?

moimart = that’s not good. I’ve had a couple of occasions now where Twinkle was placing me in a very far wrong place (New Jersey, when I’m in Texas). I found that turning off the Locate Me feature and turning it back on rectified it for me.
Have you tried that?
