A few sites have got instructions up today for how to find and use the iPhone ringtone that was used in several of the TV ads - the one that is talked about as ‘missing’ since Apple didn’t choose to include it amongst the standard ringtones.

Apparently if you’ve got iLife ‘08, you can find the sound file for this on your Mac, at:

/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/Apple/iLife Sound Effects/Work - Home/Cell Phone Ringing.aif

You can then use these excellent instructions for converting it to a ringtone.

You can also just grab the file HERE in ringtone format already, if you can’t be bothered with mastering the Garageband technique.

Personally, I don’t find this ringtone that captivating, but there ya go, I know lots of folks fancy this one …
