Now You Can Upload Videos to YouTube with iPhone Video Recorder

Share video to YouTube on iPhone Upload video to YouTube on iPhne

iPhone Video Recorder has had an update today - to Version 1.2.0 - and the big, big news is:

You can now upload videos direct to YouTube from the app!

I’ve just been giving this a quick test and it works as advertised.  Hurrah.  You’ll need a valid YouTube account to make use of this feature of course.

There may be a few other minor enhancements with this new version - I’m not sure, but have a feeling there are a few more options settings than there used to be, but I may have missed an interim version recently.

There are still some issues (for me at least) in this version with the screen orientation on videos not automatically adjusting - so for example if you capture video in portrait mode, it presents it in landscape, which is odd and not desirable.

Overall though, this program is a real standout by now - offering audio, superb file compression, and now an ability to share your videos via email or straight to YouTube.  It is a limited shareware version, and once your trial period expires it costs $19.95 - but it is looking increasingly worth every penny of that, particularly if you have faith that the developer will make this work with the App Store as well.

The latest version of iPhone Video Recorder is available on Installer now.  In order to see it, you may need to add the DreamCatcher source - which is:

Ouch, sorry to hear that J. Hope it recovered quick for you. I have never had any issues with this app so far. Are you running vWallpaper as well by any chance?
