New iPhone Game - The Impossible Quiz

The Impossible Quiz on iPhone The Impossible Quiz

I like quiz games.  Trivia quizzes, and most any flavor of knowledge testing type games.  So I’m happy to see ‘The Impossible Quiz’ game come to the iPhone.

I vaguely remember hearing about this game before, but had never tried it out.  Here is the Wikipedia description of it:

The Impossible Quiz is not in fact impossible; rather, it is incredibly difficult. It is a game from Slap-me-do that may be found on any major internet game site, such as Newgrounds or Addictinggames. The Quiz contains 100 questions that involve puns, plays on words, simple logic, and process of elimination to figure out. Once the player’s three lives run out, he must return to the very beginning of the game and start over. The Impossible Quiz is known to be quite addicting, and many have spent countless hours or even days attempting to complete the game.

Uh-oh - what did that last part say about countless hours / days trying to complete it?   Must not do that :)

The Impossible Quiz does already feel a little addictive - I like its mix of questions, which seem to range from the sublime (Q Steve Jobs Is An … A = old fart) to the ridiculous (Q Can a match box?  A = No, but a tin can).

The game lets you try over and over again, and the questions do not change - so it’s a big help if you’re good at memorizing what you’ve got right.  Even given the unchanging question set, the game is quite tough - as you are only allowed a small number (3) incorrect answers before it’s Game Over.

I’ve only got to around Question 20 so far, but will certainly be giving it another go, or two, or fifty, this evening :)

The Impossible Quiz is available on Installer now, via the BigBoss source - which, if you need to add it, is:
