BioShock is currently released for Xbox and PC.

Is is available for Mac? NOPE.

Is it available for PSP? NOPE.

Is it available for the iPhone?

NOT YET… BUT SOON (apparently).

Not sure of their source but according to The iPhone Blog BioShock is coming to the iPhone in a big way!

As someone for whom first person shooters are one of life’s guilty little pleasures I’m more than a little excited.

(Oh, and if you don’t have an iPhone there’s apparently a 2D version in the works so your "No, really I’m the iPhone-killer!" can at least make some attempt to keep up.)

While we’ll have to wait and see how well it plays on a small screen with limited processor power (compared to a gaming desktop), the very fact that developers are already planning to port big-time games to the iPhone is just one more indicator of what we have been saying all along-

The iPhone is the next great gaming platform.

Sweet! If they can port this game over smoothly maybe we’ll see some online multiplayer action evolve also. I’d also like to see a port of Counter-Strike someday, which i love and the graphics wouldn’t be as much of a HOG as bioshock either.
