New Round Of Rumors… And WE LIKE!!! (We Don’t Fully Believe But We Like)

Here’s the SKINNY on the latest round of 3G iPhone rumors direct from   Cult Of Mac-

According to

a programmer at a major software publisher who claims to have seen the specs for the iPhone 2

the next generation iPhone will blow EVERYTHING else away by being faster, thinner AND cheaper.

Here are the specs he listed-

3G
GPS
2 x memory (16GB and 32GB)
22 percent thinner
Better battery life

The kicker here is the suggestion that Apple will be subsidizing the phone
and bringing the cost down to the $200 level that has been floating around.

Personally I find it TOO good to be true but this is one time I would REALLY like to be proven wrong.

    I can’t believe that Apple would be subsidizing the iPhone. Anytime before, it was the service provider that subsidized the handset and not the manufacturer. If anybody subsidizes the iPhone, it’ll be at&t and not Apple.

    I’m still pulling for that replaceable battery…

    I’ll believe “22% thinner” when I see it.

    If it is cheaper I will KILL someone because I bought my 16GB one 3 months ago and that was $499
