MacWorld has a piece on the role and impact iPhone games will likely have on the the portable gaming market.
It is a nice article and is worth the read.

You’re right, the Macworld article hardly tells us anything new, and informed to world a long time ago what MacWorld seeems to just have figured out. I disagree to some extent though, the touch screen is extremely limiting to create precise game controls. If you play games that require rotating the phone, there’s the quarter second delay that seems to vary depending on how fast you rotate the phone. There’s a delay with how fast you touch the screen. And often times, if you do try to use rapid-finger controls, the browser will crash.
Nonetheless, the convenience of iPhone games has been (and will continue) sweeping consumers off their feet, as you predicted. Keep up the great insight!
