As many of you already know, today is the day that Firefox 3 will be released for download, and Mozilla is hoping to establish a Guinness world record for software downloads in a day as well.
I’ve been a Firefox user and big fan for a long time, and have definitely found the betas and release candidates of FF 3 to be nothing short of awesome thus far. This is easily the fastest and best browser I’ve used, and I’ve used it constantly since installing the first beta version a few months back.
Apparently the full new version download should be available around 12:00pm Central today.
You can check out lots of information on the new version, the world record effort, and more over at this Mozilla page for the launch …
