iPhone 3G = Jailbroken By The Dev Team

iPhone3GPwnage

5 days.  Looks like that is all it took for the Dev Team to jailbreak the new iPhone 3G.

Their (very?) soon to be released new version of the Pwnage Tool app will now support the V1 iPhone, the iPod Touch, and the iPhone 3G - allowing you the classic ‘have your cake and eat it too’ sort of environment on the iPhone - as in, run the new 2.0 iPhone software and enjoy the App Store, and also run jailbreak apps that Apple won’t allow into the store, like video recording programs and apps that let you theme and customize the device.

The new Pwnage Tool has not been released yet, but it sounds like it is very close.

Check Out the Dev Team blog post HERE for more details and a video …
