Word is they told all the accessory makers earlier, but not the users who have these items. I hope a simple firmware switch will make them work again, because I have a custom iPod/iPhone interface in my car. Otherwise I'd need either a new cable or an adapter which I heard is in the works to convert the 12v Firewire to 5v USB. Yeah I’m kind of disappointed that Apple didn’t let us know earlier.
