AppShopper.Com - My New Favorite App Site

image

It seems like just a few days ago (because it was) that I sang the praises of 148apps.com for its feature that allows you to see recent price drops of applications.

Turns out that an even better site exists: AppShopper.com.

AppShopper has the same price drop data that I love from 148apps.com, but it also features price increases, new releases (paid and free), and updates!  Further, it does so with a very clean and elegant interface that allows you to find what you need quickly.    (Click any image to open a larger version)

Additionally, App Shopper provides a short overview of the application, and a click brings you to a full page about the application including it’s history of introduction, updates, and price changes.  This is much faster and nicer than browsing software in iTunes.   You can, of course, choose a "buy" link that opens the application in the iTunes App Store.

App Shopper also has RSS feeds for many of the listing combinations, and a search feature to help locate your next favorite app.

This site is a must-see for any iPhone or iPod Touch owner who even casually downloads applications.   I highly recommend it!
