This is the Trabluar iPhone theme, from MMi forum member Velo.
It’s a Summerboard theme, with around 50 icons covering a range of 3rd party apps that the theme’s creator is fond of. This is another simple and clean feeling theme that I like quite a bit - although I think I much prefer using the alternative blue wallpapers included in the Extras folder that comes with the theme download.
Here’s the iLoveMMi iPhone theme, a tribute to the popular iPhone forum site ModMyiFone.
It’s a Summerboard theme, created by MMi forum member evolutonarymc. The theme is very bright and busy, and uses some of the big typography that we’ve seen in recently popular Summerboard themes like Leaf.
This one is available on Installer now, and if you guessed that it’s via the ModMyiFone source, you’d be spot on.
Allright EIC themer type people, let’s see your best efforts …
This is the new Graffiti iPhone Summerboard theme from MMi forum member roobi.
Not sure how practical this one may be for most, especially since it currently has very few icons for 3rd party apps - but it is very striking and hugely creative. Very nice work,
Graffiti is not available in Installer yet, but you can download it at this MMi thread. The zip file also contains a custom lockscreen image and some other extras …
iSpazio has released a big new Icon Pack for the Theme Builder app, containing some 750 icons to work with …
A few weeks back we told you about the Theme Builder application for iPhone - which lets you edit existing themes and build your own theme from scratch right on the iPhone itself. It’s a great program and is the perfect solution for when you have a theme you really like but just wish the icons were a little different, or icons you love on another theme, but you just want to swap the wallpaper.
Theme Builder lets you modify and create themes to satisfy all your personal tweaking desires. The only slightly disappointing thing about Theme Builder on its initial release was that there were only a small handful of wallpapers, docks, and icons provided to use when creating your new masterpieces.
iSpazio’s new Icon Pack for Theme Builder has now been released - with around 750 icons to play with when editing and creating themes. There are some very familiar / popular looking sets included in the pack - and a good number that I wouldn’t mind using at all.
It’s good to see a first icon pack for Theme Builder - and I hope we’ll start to see lots more add-on packs to help spur us all on in coming up with our perfect, custom themes.
You can find the iSpazio Icon Pack on Installer now …
This is the new Darkish iPhone theme, created by MMi forum member Argo_Rei, who also developed the Macish theme we featured recently.
It’s a Summerboard theme, and another one that makes use of typography within its icons - as a few themes are now doing since the release of the Leaf theme a few weeks back. I don’t think the use of type in this one is quite as strong as Leaf, but the color scheme is more subtle. Darkish already has a very large set of icons for 3rd party apps as well.
Argo_Rei has pointed out in announcing the theme that the dock and status bar ideas were inspired by the Damino theme by Anjuna.
This is the Human Touch iPhone Summerboard theme, by Stephen Eisenhauer. This one caught my eye earlier this week - maybe because I keep meaning to try out Ubuntu Linux and still haven’t managed it!
The theme is based on artwork from Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy Gibbon).
This is the Monodrome Blue and Monodrome Green variants of the recently released Monodrome Theme Pack for the iPhone and Summerboard.
The theme’s icons are quite simple, and there are 60 of them with this first release, which gives good coverage for quite a few popular third party apps. It’s also quite nice that just installing the one theme gets you ten one-color variants to choose from. The colors available are: blue, green, black, grey, orange, pink, purple, red, white, and yellow.
The Monodrome Theme Pack is available now on Installer …
This is the new NotePad Summerboard theme for the iPhone. It’s another one from DustLonely, who seems to be churning out new themes at an amazing rate just now.
It’s very light, with interesting icons. It is another one where you may feel the DustLonely branding is a bit too strong though - I’d like to see it toned down a fair bit in future.
Oh yes, this is definitely the theme for me right now. I find this one - in both its color variations - to be just ultra-clean and great looking.
This is the Macish 2.0 Summerboard theme from MMi forum member Argo_Rei.
I love the icons, and there are tons of them, with more being added quite frequently. I also very much like the two different wallpapers, for use with the blue and white versions of the theme.
I have not seen this one on Installer yet, so you’ll need to go HERE for the MMi forum thread with download links for it.
This week has seen a flurry of theme releases from DustLonely and the ‘BigBoss’ Apps and Things source on Installer. Above are just two of the examples that caught my attention: Blue Tear and Black Wood.
Other DustLonely Summerboard iPhone themes released this week include China Wind, Rose, several toy-based creations, Supernova, Sunshine, and ‘Shut Up and Kiss Me’.
Lots of interesting stuff to look at, and all available on Installer now …
The market for jailbreak apps is ONLY in countries where there is no App Store. Hackers and non-mainstream apps will move over to Android… — Craig Hockenberry, IconFactory (makers of Twitterific)
