iNapkin for iPhone

iNapkin is quite an original new note taking / drawing app for the iPhone – that is based on the age-old ‘scribble your thoughts down on the back of a napkin’ concept.

I’ve given it a quick try and though it’s not a keeper for me, it’s probably very interesting who are less ‘fat-fingered’ than I am …

As you can see from the screencap at the top of this post my ever-so-non-artistic fingers are just not well suited for what this app offers.  If you are more nimble and artistic than I am (which I’d bet 99.9% of you are), this app may be great for jotting down quick ideas, diagrams, drawings, or an all-important phone number.

Its features include:

  • 1st note-taking app with TRUE PAN AND ZOOM
  • FIVE different pen colors
  • Variable pen and eraser sizes
  • The ability to save your works as photo images
  • Multiple napkin backdrop sizes and designs
  • And now, send your napkins directly to Facebook using Facebook Connect!

The app looks good, runs well, and is a very nice concept I think.  You can find it in the App Store now, priced at $1.99 – and if any of you want to share your ‘back of a napkin’ creations, fire away. :)

This looks really fun actually, but not sure I want to pay more than my $0.99 worth. Kinda want to look into it a bit more, wish we could delete the notes app that apple puts on our phone :( well and the stocks app – that's a waste of space for me.

Christine – lovely to see you here! It is pretty fun, even for a klutz like me – I kept trying to draw up Lebron's last second heroic shot the other night on it, but alas produced nothing presentable :)

I wouldn't mind getting rid of the default Notes app either – and the Stocks app would be out for in 2 seconds flat if it could be deleted …
