ATTMMS

Great pic from Douglas of the Apple iPhone School site (great site too).  The pic above is the Apple display at one of his local AT&T stores.  I guess the word ‘ironic’ or even just ‘sad’ is not one the AT&T marketers had in mind when putting that baby together.

MMS fans waiting in line tomorrow – want some salt for your wound?

Jojo – no line for you then. But that waiting – that can be tough too. :)

Another example of the disconnectedness in the management of many of our American companies. While I'm certainly not happy about our economic troubles here, I am hoping that more of our companies wake up, learn to run more efficiently, and start innovating.

Very well said aflorence. I hope that too – though I do not feel optimistic on this when I see the new GM adverts.

Wading through all of the recent comments complaining about AT&T on the various blog sites, I learned about some old SNL skits that featured Lily Tomlin. I had never seen these before and thought I'd share. When somebody commented about not having 3G in Peoria, Illinois, the reply that followed read:

You don't have 3G in Peoria because Ernestine unplugged you.
"We don't care, we don't have to. We're the phone company."

SNL skits sound funny – was that meant to be a link?

yeah, works for me in Safari 4 (beta – didn't like the top tabs at first but got used to them). I just used an "<a href>"

There doesn't seem to be a way to post the plain text link without the comment system turning it into an a href link and shortening it. Anyway the page is SNL_1976.html

Thanks – this one worked – good skit – thanks for sharing :)
