Ever since the iPhone first launched, there’s been persistent debate about whether its camera is really as crappy as most other 2 megapixel ones are, or whether its somehow got a little extra edge to it, and can produce surprisingly good photos.
I am not even worthy of amateur photographer status – in fact if amateur photographer was equivalent to Triple A ball in baseball, I’m not even in the Single A league – so I don’t have an opinion one way or the other on that debate.
But … from my way-below-amateur perspective, the set of 100 Amazing iPhone Photos really do seem amazingly good. The pic at the top of this post is one of them – it’s by Richard Sintchak, whose Flickr stream is HERE.
There are lots more great examples – cityscapes, nature scenes, people, dogs (yay) and more – at Photocritic’s article HERE. Would love to know what you all think of these.
