Hurrah! It took a bit, but it looks like Facebook Connect for comments is working now. This means that in addition to being able to login via Disqus – which is in use by more and more sites round the web all the time – you can now also login with your Facebook account details in order to comment anywhere on this site.
I’m very happy to see this feature working – as I hope it makes it easier for lots of folks to login, and hopefully that translates to a few more of you joining in and commenting, talking more with us here when you like something, disagree with something, or for any old reason at all. 
I’ve even successfully tested logging in on the iPhone with Facebook credentials, and though it opens a separate page for the FB login portion, it then auto-refreshes this site’s page and shows you as logged in.
If you’re a Facebook user, give this a whirl and drop us a comment when you get a chance. Let me know how it’s working – or if it’s not working – for you.
