LogMeIn Ignition, the remote access app for your PC or Mac is going on sale for this weekend only. The price is being slashed across all the App Stores with the US price dropping from $29.99 to $19.99 – a 33% saving.
The app provides individuals and service providers access to remote machines straight from their iPhone or iPod Touch. Within seconds, users can connect to their home or office computer and work as if they were sitting right in front of it.

Did I miss something in the article b/c why would you buy the app now @ $29.99 when this WKND it will be $19.99…. That's why I must be missing something….LOL

For those interested, it's also good to know that the latest version finally fix the problem with the keyboard when accessing a remote computer not using an US keyboard. No problem any more to type special chars like _ or $ on my swiss french keyboard.
I picked up the Remote Tap app and it works just fine from the iPhone and at a much cheaper price point than 19.99. I use LogMeIn free for computer to computer support, but when I access from my iPhone Remote Tap seems just as good. http://www.readpixel.com/remotetap/index.html
