file magic for iphone

Two free promo codes for File Magic to be won!

Contest Deadline: Monday, September 7, 1:00 PM US Central

Step right up, folks, because it’s time for some magic! See that file there on your desktop? *BOOM* It’s now on your iPhone with File Magic (review here)! Okay, well it’s not quite that fast, but it does allow wireless file transfer from a Mac or PC to your iPhone, as long as the client is loaded on both ends. This means that you can write an e-mail on your computer, shoot it over to your phone with Magic, and then send it off using your mobile data connection. If all else fails, you can also use the iPhone as a wireless USB drive for important files, so you’ll likely always have them with you.

Hit the jump for the contest details!

How To Win:

*** Just add a comment to this post, making sure to fill out the “email address” field(don’t worry, it won’t be displayed and we won’t use it for any other reason than to contact you if you win) – and you’re in with an entry for our random drawing of winners on Monday. ***

*** For a bonus entry to double your chances, tell us about your clever use for File Magic, were you to have it on your iPhone ***

That’s it! We’ll draw our two winners on Monday (9/7/09) sometime after 1:00 pm US Central time.

*** Please Note: The promo codes are only available for the US App Store, so you will need a US-based account to make use of them – keep this in mind when entering the contest.

Count me in.

I need a program like this to change out media (movies, tv shows) etc. on my iPhone from laptop while traveling (laptop is not the computer I sync with).

This would be awesome for my phone. WOW.

I could record multitrack files on my laptop on the go with my band and quickly zip them off to twitter or email via my phone. Totally cool utility.

Definitely looks like a sweet application… would definitely have come in handy when moving powerpoint presentations from my computer to the computer in the room I presented in… it'd be awesome to win this!

This app would simplify mine and my wifes' lives at the same time. Since getting the 3GS, we are completely preoccupied with taking video and pictures of our 2 daughters in action. If we had this app, we could swap the vids and pictures that we take between the phones without having to email or sync them to a desktop. The time saved would be a HUGE plus. The ability to push to the desktop via wifi in icing on the cake.

Looking at the review, it looks like a slick app. Simple and intuitive. If I had this app, I could spend more time getting educated on the blog!

Here's hoping I win a copy!

This is absolutely amazing! I have always wanted this kind of app in my precious iPhone 3GS. This app will very simply make it easier or I would rather say, the easiest way to sync my files from the App Store to iPhone! Plus it can be EASILY done over my own WiFi at home. God..I'm so excited. =)

I regularly transfer files such as mp3, movies, photos and most of all my work documents (.docx, .pptx, and .pdf) via usb. With this app added advantage, I can do it wirelessly! No more wires. Its so cool man. Totally.

I hope I can get a free copy of File Magic from you! Thanks!

Fantastic contest. I regularly use a USB drive to carry work files between home PC, home laptop, work PC, and work laptop. This would save me a lot of time. And I
always have my phone. I have forgotten the thumbdrive.

Cool, I could see this being useful as I often forget my flash drive and I always have my iPhone with me. I've tried a few other apps and none really did the job quite well so File Magic may be the one – will see.
