This looks like a great app. Mostly 5 star and great reviews. I will have to get this as I help with the astronomy merit badge for Boy Scouts. Would help with constellation identification.

Wow, this app looks amazing. I'm an avid star gazer, love sitting outside at night and just looking up, wondering if there's anything aside from stars/planets out there. Thanks for the change to win this great app!

This app is revolutionary and will change the way apps are in the future

Well I think the "time machine" feature is one of the neatest ideas of this app. Being able to see how the sky will look in the future seems like a very nifty thing.

Such an excellent app. My kids and I live in the mountains and are often treated to unobstructed sky views – this would answer so many of the questions they have. I appreciate the opportunity to be part of it!

Looks like a killer app. I love to read up on constellations especially the zodiac ones.

Really cool looking program, I think the time machine part shines the brightest.

Wow this is really the best astronomy app there is. It will be hard to beat with its good graphics and detailed descriptions.

This looks like a really cool application. My dad would really enjoy this application, comparing his telescope to it.

In Solar system, of course, sun is the brightest. When go to the Milky way (also called the Galaxy), Peony nebula star shines the brightest according to NASA data. So I love this app which could help me to find more interesting sky.

This would have been SO handy when I was camping in the desert last week! But, the camping season is young so I can always use it next time.

Looks like the perfect app to go along with the new telescope I got my fiance for Christmas.

The app draws sky objects as an actual photographic image. So I can identify them as a star or planet, tapping once to see image, information and some data, like a amazing star Wikipedia which shines brightest for me!

The top star app, I think the "time machine" feature almost the best cool one.

18 Armand January 17, 2010 at 9:24 am

This app looks really cool, there isn't one part of it that sticks out at me because I think the app in it's entirety is awesome! hope I win.

It’s looks like great app. The UI of Star Walk is amazing and unique.

Time Machine that allows to watch the sky in different time is the coolest feature.

22 velex January 18, 2010 at 7:40 pm

Cool app, I think 'time machine' is the best feature.

I have been trying to decide which star gazing app to buy for few weeks now. If I were to win one that would really speed the choice up! But hey the fact they have supported JAIB means they might get my business anyway. It's in the stars…..

Sorry – this contest ended on January 19th.

27 iGnome February 8, 2010 at 10:54 pm

Yea I just sussed that. I read the review of the app which is current and just assumed closing day of Tuesday was tomorrow. But then I noticed all the posts were weeks old….
