Since must app on the iphone have push now, I think the most key feature for me is how easy it is to use. Simple is always better just look @ tweetie 2.

Key feature of iPhone messenger app is push notifications.

5 donkee December 13, 2009 at 8:18 pm

Key features must include multitasking capabilities and voice to text input.

Multitasking: Reply the push notification without leaving the existing app.
Voice to Test input: Reply im without having to type them, useful when driving.
Supports popular IM: to include Skype.

Multiple IM networks (Yahoo, MSN, Google etc), easy to tell which network your chatting through, push, fast light intuitive interface, customizable tones.

12 Rxmxsh December 13, 2009 at 9:38 pm

I think that push is the most needed/wanted feature. Thanks for the opportunity to win this.

13 Luc M December 13, 2009 at 10:44 pm

The most important features are

1.Push Notifications
2.Option to stay connected indefinitely
3. Good UI
4. Landscape Keyboard Functionality

Getting this app free is the best feature. Please pick me.

15 Doug December 14, 2009 at 1:47 am

Looks Cool….Simple Use, and integrating multiple systems.

18 Chris Logan December 14, 2009 at 3:09 am

Push is needed, staying connected, value for the dollar (in this case free) and a good user experience.

19 Aaron L December 14, 2009 at 3:32 am

Sounds good to me!

20 Hondamaker December 14, 2009 at 4:23 am

The best feature of any IM app has got to be the push notifications.

21 Hong December 14, 2009 at 4:29 am

ah nice ;)

22 Scott Robertson December 14, 2009 at 5:31 am

I'd be very interested in using Agile Messenger.

23 gaemon December 14, 2009 at 8:17 am

Give it to me give it to me please! =))

24 fellowweb December 14, 2009 at 9:24 am

Push notifications with the option to choose the notification tone. This would make sure that I can choose a notification tone, I can really hear. ;-)

25 nj-iphoner December 14, 2009 at 1:45 pm

Push notification is important for me. I've used this app on other formats and was a big fan. I agree with the earlier posters that the landscape keyboard and UI are also big pluses in this app.

26 Tino December 14, 2009 at 2:31 pm

I think all IM apps should have some standard features like, push notification, active links in IM bubbles, copy paste, export conversations via email, many sounds to go with push and different themes would be cool too.

this is the best im app in the store for me.
it has the most important key features such as
reliable push notifications and longer offline push service than the other apps
instant photo and voice sharing
support for all major im clients
friendly interface

hope to see profile picture changing ability and to see others profiles as well…
i would be glad to get a promo code

cheers

Pick me. The biggest feature is currently only possible with Jailbreaking, which is to run in the Background and allow fast responding. If I could leave IM end quick respond from games and while watching movies, I'd be willing to pay a lot. Unfortunately, I think your only option is to run Backgrounder. Still we have come a long way-I remember Boards, and then ICQ and even AOL (not AIM), AOL.

29 Lili December 14, 2009 at 3:47 pm

push and clean interface. no crazy colors. no overly designed buttons.

30 Tino December 14, 2009 at 5:05 pm

I think all IM apps should have some standard features like, 1. Push, 2.landscape, 3. Copy paste bubble, 4.active links w/ in app browser, 5.SMS to all phone types, 6.themes and multiple tones, 7.export conversations by email. Those combined make a very useful IM app.

31 Scott December 14, 2009 at 11:16 am

Push that lasts longer than just a certain number of hours after you close the app, multiple protocols, automatic “hot”ness of URLs

32 wayne jelley December 14, 2009 at 8:05 pm

What I would like in an IM client for iPhone:
1. Push
2. Minimum 1 hour connectivity after closing app
3. In app browser
4. In app url cut and paste
You know the typical things we all want

33 Anna December 15, 2009 at 3:27 pm

I hope I win! :) I want it to be able to run in the background and have push notification.

34 bivan February 27, 2010 at 1:13 am

35 Luc M. December 13, 2009 at 10:45 pm
