Five Free Promo Codes for RSS Player app To Be Won

Contest Deadline: Wednesday December 9th, 1:00pm US Central

I love running contests for RSS Player, because I really like the app tons.  Luckily for me, and for you,  Alex (the lead developer of RSS Player) is always very generous with his codes – so we get a fair few chances to offer them up.

For those who haven’t had a chance to look at RSS Player yet, it’s a superb podcast client for the iPhone and iPod Touch, one that far surpasses the podcast-handling abilities of the built-in iPod app.  Here are a few of its notable features:

  • Lets you download any size episode, even larger than 10MB, over EDGE and 3G
  • Refreshes your entire podcast collection in minutes without ever pressing a single button or connecting to a computer
  • Offers push alerts when new episodes of your favorite audio and video podcasts are available

I especially like the push notifications and I’m a huge fan of anything that helps me avoid the need to do a cabled sync – and this fits the bill big time. Read on for the details on how easy it is to enter for a chance to win a free copy …

How To Win:

*** Just add a comment to this post, making sure to fill out the “email address” field(don’t worry, it won’t be displayed and we won’t use it for any other reason than to contact you if you win) – and you’re in with an entry for our random drawing of winners on Wednesday. ***

*** For a bonus entry to increase your chance of winning, tell us about some of your favorite podcasts you’d be keeping tabs on with RSS Player’s help.

That’s it! We’ll draw our five winners on Wednesday (12/9/09) sometime after 1:00 pm US Central time.

*** Please Note: The promo codes are only available for the US App Store, so you will need a US-based account to make use of them – keep this in mind when entering the contest.
