My favorite iPhone game – HomeRun Battle 3D – has now got a Lite (free) version to give a taste of the full app.
The new Lite version offers only Matchup and Arcade modes, and is limited in other ways, as shown in the screencap above and on its App Store page. I gave it just a very quick whirl this morning – and although it’s limited (as most Lite versions are), it’s good enough to get the feel of the game and see whether you want to move up to the full version.
Speaking of the full version, its price has moved back up to $4.99 now. In my view, it’s well worth that price. My review of the game – when it was still called Baseball Slugger (it’s not had any major changes since the name change by the way) – is right here.

Picked up the lite version tonight, very fun. Will definitely get multiple plays.
