Crazy Penguin Catapult has been a favorite game of mine and my daughters for ages now. It’s a simple, whacky, and fun game where you fire penguins out of a catapult and use them to knock down polar bears. It makes me laugh just typing that. 
Now there is a shiny new version of this great little game – it’s called Crazy Penguin Catapult 2, and it’s packed with brand new levels, power-ups, and lots more. I’ve been giving it a try over the weekend, and I’m happy to see that it stays faithful to the original game (gameplay is identical) and just improves on it.
My daughter and I have always played the Lite (free) variant of the game – so that’s what we’ve got for now on Version 2 of it. The free version offers 6 levels of play, while the full version offers 50 all-new levels to get around, and goes for $2.99.
I think this is very good timing for a brand new version of Crazy Penguin Catapult. As I said, it’s been a long-standing favorite for us – but one of those you play a little less often as it’s been out for quite a while and you’ve got it mastered (if you’re like my daughter) or admitted defeat on certain levels (if you’re like me).
