It wasn’t all that long ago that we told you how Best Buy is inexplicably charging $20.00 more for an iPhone 3G dock than Apple themselves. When Wal-Mart began selling the iPhone, I was confident that they would charge what Apple charges — or maybe a few pennies less. As it turns out, they are only $1.01 cheaper than Best Buy.
Of course, I am now forced to wonder – is this some sort of NDA-obscured pricing mandate from Cupertino for this one item? Why? Wal-Mart and Best Buy’s prices on other accessories for the iPhone/iPod line don’t seem out of line. If you’d like to speculate, fire away in the comments section.

I’m going to guess that there’s a SKU that includes a charger/sync cable that is $20 more — but your picture seems to show this as only a dock without any included charger.
Pricing mistake?
