soldout

Munster says that Apple didn’t correctly predict the initial demand for the product and has been left without stock to sell. He believes four weeks is the lead time Apple needs to ramp up orders and get new units delivered to its stores.

According to multiple reports – including this one – round the web over the weekend, the iPhone 3G is sold out just about everywhere in the US now – and it may now take up to four weeks for Apple to get their stores re-supplied.

Ouch.  Not good for anyone who was hoping to wait for the lines to die down and grab one in a more civilized manner.

Any of you still looking round for a 3G?  Or waiting on re-supply for local stores?
