The guys at GearLive – the same guys who told us all about iPhone firmware 1.1.3’s new features well before it was unveiled by Apple – are now reporflashon_logo ting word from their sources that Flash support for the iPhone is very close.

Well, we’ve just got word from a reliable source that Flash support is on its way to the iPhone, and it should be coming very, very soon. Speculating a bit further on our own, we are guessing that it would be pretty convenient for Flash support to be introduced alongside the iPhone SDK …

I would definitely agree that Apple most likely will have something good up their sleeves to announce along with the SDK.  In fact, I would hope that if Flash support is on the menu for the SDK announcement, that it’s not the only other thing announced.  As in, I hope we’ll also see some exciting apps that are ready to go …
