NetNewsWire 2 for iPhone

I’ve been continuing to use the new NNW app and wanted to mention just a few more things that are included in the app, some of which we’ve been talking about a little in the comments on my first impressions post:

One small but very nice feature I’ve noticed is that when you tap to mark all items in an individual feed as read, you automatically slide back to the feeds listing view.  No need to tap a back button or do anything on your part.  A real timesaver.

The in-app browser is pretty good – I have no complaints with it.

It’s easy to launch a feed item in Safari – this is done via the same action button that’s used for sharing (via email and other methods)

Another small thing I’ve found I quite like is that within individual feeds, there are clear section dividers showing which day and date item were published.  I find this very helpful.

I still have mixed feelings on this new version, but I am finding it quite comfortable to work with.

I would like a setting that allow me to see the folders "not collapsed". And also twitter support :p

It has Twitter support – you can share an item to Twitter via the same button used to share via email.

the new version of the app is terribly slow in my opinion – the former version was much faster – gets a little bit faster if I put my phone into flightmode

Odd. I'm not finding it slow at all – on syncing, or loading of views, or anywhere so far.
