Agendus – another popular PIM (personal information manager) app on the Palm and Windows Mobile platforms – has now come to the iPhone. Agendus for iPhone extends the built-in Contacts app, and also provides task management, though it does not offer any calendar functionality as yet, which would complete the standard PIM set. Calendaring capabilities are a priority for future updates.
This first version of Agendus for iPhone includes a Today view, Task List view, Compact and Expanded Contact views, and features such as contact linking, one-tap dial / email, task categories, colors, grouping, and filtering, as well as over-the-air service such as integrated weather forecasts (huh?).
You can find Agendus in the App Store now, at a rather steep initial price of $7.99.
