The latest dot update to my favourite iPhone IM is the cool kind: the kind that makes the app faster. Not only does Beejive now load up and display my contact list within two seconds (down from three and a bit of lag), but my messages are loading faster as well.
There used to be a one second delay before message preview would display in the chats tab. This delay is now gone – replaced by a wonderful, fresh pine smell and an instantaneous chatting experience.
The last noticeable change has to do with the search bar, which now sits atop the contacts list as it does in most every other default iPhone app.
I loved Beejive before because it has always been sweet like honey, but now I love it more, like honey and garlic glazing on a crispy chicken wing.

P.S. I'm super psyched about this update. I use Beejive all day every day and when conversations got more than a day or two long, it took FOREVER for them to open. So excited to see this fixed.
Will reference something less yummy next time. Oatmeal maybe.
