Documents To Go for iPhone

Good news for all those still looking for an ‘Office suite’ type app for the iPhone.  Documents To Go – a very popular solution in this category on the Palm platform and one that many have been waiting to see come to the iPhone – has now been submitted to the Apple for approval – and Dataviz (who make it) hope it will be out in a few days.

Up to now, there’s only been one office suite available for the iPhone – Quickoffice – and thus far it has not got rave reviews, and it is priced at a very steep (for the App Store) $19.99.

Dataviz has not yet revealed what the price for Documents To Go (DTG) will be, but hopefully they’ll launch it at a lower price than Quickoffice.

I just started following Dataviz on Twitter today, and if you’re interested in DTG at all, it’s worth taking the time to follow them as well – since they are running a promotion to gain new followers and giving away free apps and iTunes gift cards.  Here’s some of the detail on that:

Yes, that’s right, Twitter has sucked us in! And starting today you have a chance to get ANY of our products for free or a $20 iTunes gift certificate!

All you have to do is become a follower of DataViz Inc. For every 100 followers we have as of Wed.
