		<description>Ballymack - have you gone to Settings &gt; Notifications and then your IM app, and made sure Sounds are turned on?  I think they may set to Off by default. </description>

		<description>It&#039;s still acting really funky for me. Logged on this morning and the contacts definitely showed up faster...just not all of them. My sister&#039;s gtalk acct was nowhere to be found. Gah. 
 
I&#039;m assuming this will work just fine when I get on the new iPhone, but it&#039;s kinda funky how this isn&#039;t even working properly for basic functionality on my 1st-gen.  </description>
