Flick iPhone app

Flickr has updated its iPhone app – and ticked off a few fairly obvious wish list items with some of the new features in Version 1.1.  The update’s details page lists these changes:

  • You can now upload multiple photos and videos at a time
  • You can now edit titles, descriptions, sets, tags, and privacy controls for photos and videos

I updated last night and have to say I’m disappointed with the multi-photo upload feature – as it does not let you select multiple images all at once in a photo library.  Instead you have to use the ‘Add Item’ button from the Details page.  Several other photo apps I’ve used allow for multiple selections within the library – so this is a dumb miss in my view.

Still, I’m glad to see Flickr adding features – and hope they will improve the multi-photo upload in a future update.  You can find this latest version of the Flickr app in the App Store now, and it is a free app.
