FreshFeed – the iPhone Friendfeed client app – has had an update this week. Several new features have been added, including: landscape keyboard, quick likes, adding current location to posts, and hashtag support.
For me, the biggest new addition is the ability to record and post audio files. Tested this out just very quickly today and it worked fine for me. This a very nice add.
Overall, I still prefer BuddyFeed as my go-to iPhone Friendfeed app, but both are worthy iPhone Friendfeed clients. I’ve compared the two in a recent post – for anyone interested, that post is HERE.
You can find this newest version of FreshFeed in the App Store now, priced at $2.99.
UPDATE: Per weckman’s comment below, I missed mentioning one important new feature added by this update – the ability to work with direct messages.

I think You have forgotten to mention the most important change – it now is, as far as I now, the first app to support the new version of the FriendFeed API 2.0, and therefore also the first app in which one can read, reply to and create direct messages. I've been waiting for this for ages!
My bad – I hardly ever use that feature, so didn't spot it in the listing of additions.
I really like this app, but currently audio and photo posting results in an error, and I can't seem to find support from the programmer.
