There are quite a few things that I like about the PogoPlank springboard replacement app for the iPhone. Above all, as I’ve mentioned so many times, I love the ability to run 160 apps and more and still have just one home screen.
At the other end of the spectrum, one of the more ‘frilly’ reasons for enjoying it is the ability to give my iPhone a fairly complete makeover in no time flat. Because PogoPlank itself is so unobtrusive and subtle (and theme-able), simply changing my wallpaper gives my phone a whole new look instantly. With no icons to get in the way, and with the ability to adjust my PogoPlank theme to suit my new background, I can transform my iPhone’s look in just a very few taps.
Last night I grew tired of my dark blue gradated backgrounds. In ten seconds flat I carried out my makeover – and now I’m in a Leopard frame of mind.
