MLB At Bat

MLB At Bat was already a very impressive iPhone app – but it has recently added a new feature which makes it even better.  It now offers ‘Condensed Games’ video recaps of every MLB game.

These offer a video recap ‘of all relevant game action edited down to less than 10 minutes, featuring the most important pitches, hits and outs of every MLB game’.

You get to the Condensed Games via the Videos tab. They are the listings at the top of the listing, labeled ‘CG: team names’.

I’ve watched a few of these and they are a superb way to catch up with your favorite team’s results, or just whichever good matchups of the day catch your eye.

MLB At Bat has got a lot of attention since it was first previewed and is rightly viewed as a real premium app – so it’s great to see it continuing to add strong new features.  This one is a great addition to the app.

You can find MLB At Bat in the App Store now, priced at $9.99 (and there is also a lite / free version).
