MobileDocs is a new iPhone app that caught my eye last night, as I haven’t seen too many apps that do much with Google Documents. Here’s part of its App Store description:
MobileDocs lets you view and share your Google Documents and Spreadsheets. Need to show your boss the latest revision of a project proposal? MobileDocs lets you do just that! You can also save documents for offline viewing or email them as a PDF for someone to review.
I gave the app a quick try last night, and found it OK but not hugely interesting. It does what it says, so if you have a big need to (just) view Google Docs, then this may be a very handy app to have around.
Personally, I’d find it much more interesting if it had an ability to edit documents or, better still, edit docs and do two-way sync.
If you need a Google Docs viewer, MobileDocs is in the App Store now, priced at $1.99.

This is all good and well but I have to agree with you Patrick. At this point if an app won't let me access AND edit my docs I'm personally not interested.
Yup – I suppose this may be useful for some folks who only need to share / view docs of this type – but it is not an appealing option for me either.
