NetNewsWire 2.0 for iPhone

Version 2.0 for the iPhone is out now – and as promised it has added Google Reader sync.

I’ve been dying to see this new version of NetNewsWire for the iPhone – and tonight it is out in the App Store.

There are now two versions of the app – one is free and ad-supported and the other is a ‘Premium’, $1.99 version which as far as I can see has no additional features but is free of ads.

Some first impressions coming up in just a few minutes.

I’m going to skip the App Store link for now, as the free version currently shows the new icon, but an old version number, with only the paid, premium version showing as 2.0 – despite the fact that my free version got the 2.0 update via the store.
