The top bar is a pretty important spot on the iPhone, but it’s about to get more crowded if MusicBar takes off or gets any more features. I like the idea of another way to access controls that you can normally only see with a double-tap of the Home button, but tapping on the carrier name just doesn’t seem like the way to do it.
