Today is the one year anniversary of for the SimplyTweet iPhone app – and to celebrate the app is being offered for free, for today only.
SimplyTweet is a hugely feature-rich iPhone Twitter client – one that is very popular and that I tend to think of as ‘the hardest working app in show biz’ because it is so lovingly and frequently updated.

Shows up as $4.99 in the store
In the App Store on your phone? It shows that way for me as well – but shows as free in iTunes on the desktop. I'm using the US store – if you are too, give iTunes a try.

I think it's a timezone thing. as far as I can figure out, the dev only made it free for a few hours. We might've missed it.

A time zone issue perhaps? You are in Iraq, I'm in Texas, the developer is (I believe) based in Korea.
Doesn't matter, I am using the US iTunes Store — so I should see exactly what you're seeing.

One day in Korea but that equates to half a (wakening) day in the USA. Seems like a pure tease to me.
