When the Genius for Apps feature first came along with the iPhone OS 3.1 update, I was not very impressed with it. Despite presumably starting off with full knowledge of hundreds of apps I’d purchased via the App Store, its early sets of recommendations for me were odd and mostly useless.

OK, so I guess the Genius feature for app recommendations is going to take a little while to ‘learn’ and then be able to offer me some better suggestions. Right now, having only just turned it on last night, it is providing mostly comedic value with its picks for me.
